Covid19

The Stables Guest House Covid 19 Policy.

We are glad to welcome guests back to our B&B so that they can enjoy this beautiful area. As a food business, hygiene has always been at the forefront of our minds. However, we have had to change to take account of viruses as well as bacteria. We have made some alterations to the way we work to reduce the risk of infection. Your comfort and health are our priority.

Please use the hand sanitiser on the sideboard in the hallway when entering and exiting the house.

We have reduced the number of guests we book in at any time to enable you to maintain good social distancing, particularly in the breakfast room, at least 2 metres apart.

Please could you complete your contact details on the card in your room in case we need to advise ‘track and trace‘ personnel – leave the card in your room.

You will find tea/coffee facilities in your bedroom, these have been placed specifically for you and will be changed between guests. Guests can bring their used crockery to breakfast and fresh clean crockery will be provided.

BREAKFAST

We have configured our dining room in a way that supports social distancing. Breakfast times will be staggered, between 7.30 am – 10.00 am with guest groups arriving 15 minutes apart

HOUSEKEEPING

We will place hand sanitisers and bins in the breakfast room and your bedroom.

Daily room servicing will be suspended. If you would like your room serviced, please ask to arrange one. If you need anything else, please let us know.  If your bin needs emptying place it outside your door.

We will be cleaning more frequently especially in high traffic areas and touch points, (reception areas, hallways, staircases, door handles, etc).

Our Guest Lounge has a range of interesting books and leaflets about the local area for you to enjoy.  Use hand sanitiser first and if you place reading material you have browsed in the box provided we will isolate them for 72 hours.

CHECK OUT

Please leave keys in the room.

A thorough and deep clean will be carried out after each guest’s departure ready for new guests to arrive. Please open your bedroom windows before checking out.

MISCELANEOUS

Remember you will need a face mask to enter the shops in Scotland at the moment. It is also the law in Scotland to use a face mask in pubic enclosed spaces, which we consider to include the shared areas of the B&B except when at your breakfast table.
